Juliane Arriens, Head of the Research Unit Mobility with Renewable Energy at RLI, will give a presentation at the preparatory meeting for the 31st OSCE Economic and Environmental Forum.
The preparatory meeting will take place under the motto “Enhancing security and stability in the OSCE region through digital innovation, contributing to sustainable development and climate adaptation”. Juliane’s presentation will focus on “Promoting policies in the fields of sustainable energy as well as trade and transport to improve the environmental footprint of the economy”. Specifically, she will talk about the interface between renewable energies and the decarbonization of transport and present project examples.
The Economic and Environmental Forum is the main meeting-cycle within the Economic and Environmental Dimension of the OSCE. Its objective is to stimulate political dialogue among the 57 OSCE participating States on key economic and environmental issues related to security.
The First Preparatory Meeting of the 31st OSCE Economic and Environmental Forum will gather around 150 representatives of governments and state institutions, international organizations, business sector, civil society and the academic community.
