RLI Managing Director Christine Kühnel will speak at the debate evening “Heat transition – from the basement, to the shell, to the grid” organized by the Energy & Climate Protection Foundation, a non-profit foundation of Energie Baden-Württemberg AG.
The topic of the event is the decarbonization of heating planning, which the government of Baden-Württemberg has initiated in the Climate Protection and Climate Change Adaptation Act 2021. Participants will discuss the implementation of the federal initiative, the role of heat and electricity grids and technical solutions such as heat pumps. They will also clarify the questions of whether it is only about the boiler room or also the building envelope, who should bear the costs and which partners and skills are needed for the heating transition.
Further guests are Steffen Ringwald, Managing Director of Netze BW GmbH and Andreas Jung, Member of the German Bundestag and Spokesperson for Climate Protection & Energy of the CDU/CSU parliamentary group.
