November 9th 2016 – On November 8th and 9th, the second HYPOS-Forum took place in Bitterfeld-Wolfen. It was chaired by RLI managing director Kathrin Goldammer, Oliver Arnhold, Head of the Research Field “Mobility with Renewable Energy” participated in the plenum. HYPOS is short for Hydrogen Power Storage & Solutions East Germany, and is a project within the “Zwanzig20” (“Twenty20”) program of the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research. As an association, it promotes the East German hydrogen industry, counting more than 100 members which include research institutions and companies of all sizes. RLI is a HYPOS member focusing on the role of hydrogen as a technology in the German Energy Transition and does research on hydrogen and mobility infrastructure in Germany.
The network meets twice a year to discuss current research project and exchange news and ideas. The two-day meeting in Wolfen focused, among other topics, on hydrogen as a tool for the energy transition and for emission-free mobility.
