12.09. | RLI Energy Dialogue 2022

12th September | Berlin

On September 12, the RLI Energy Dialogue will take place for the sixth time. With this event, employees of Reiner Lemoine Institute will give an insight into their work on the energy and transport transition. The event will take place as a face-to-face meeting in Berlin and is themed “With new general conditions and the same goal: How to succeed in the turnaround to a resilient energy system with 100 percent renewable energy?”.

During the event, four workshops will be offered. The participants are invited to work on questions from the three RLI research units as well as from Reiner Lemoine Foundation’s (RLS) Graduate School. They will address the question of where the energy transition is taking place, the pace of the transportation transition, pathways to a carbon-neutral electricity system and international perspectives and collaboration on green hydrogen.

In addition to the workshops, a panel discussion will be the focus of the event. RLI Managing Director Kathrin Goldammer will discuss the results of the workshops and the event’s theme with guests from politics, science and civil society. The panel includes Carolin Schenuit, Executive Director, Forum Ökologisch-Soziale Marktwirtschaft e.V. (Forum for an Ecological-Social Market Economy), Henrik Vagt, Managing Director of Business & Politics, IHK Berlin (Chamber of Industry and Commerce), Kathrin Thomaschki, Head of Division, Social Participation in Transformation, Federal Ministry of Economics and Climate Protection, and Neelke Wagner, Hydrogen, Sector Coupling and Climate Protection Officer, Klima-Allianz Deutschland e.V. (Climate Alliance Germany).

Together with Wuselwerk, the RLS new network established in 2022, a reception will follow the event.

Further details are available in the program (in German).

Participation in the event is by invitation only.
