RLI will host the second Summer School of the Project California-Berlin Exchange and Research (C-BEAR +) in August 2022, this time on the topic of “Transforming Energy Systems on Islands and in a Development Context”. The event is organized by Clara Jütte, researcher and project lead in the unit Off-Grid Systems at RLI. The Summer School will be supported by TU Berlin.
The event starts on 8.8. and ends on 19.8. During this time a group of about 18 students from universities in the USA and Germany will get to know different approaches, methods and open source tools. In small groups they will develop joint project ideas at the RLI in Adlershof and at TU Berlin. The participants will also visit topic-related institutions such as Agora Energiewende and EUREF Campus.
In addition to an extensive content program, the students will experience some culture. Among other things, they will visit the Berlin Reichstag and take a guided tour of the city.
