Birgit Schachler, researcher in the RLI Research Unit Transformation of Energy Systems, will speak on the impact of different charging strategies of electric vehicles on the energy system on February 4. The presentation will take place in context of the online conference “Future Power Grids”. Thematically, the conference will focus on power grids, including renewable energy integration, sector coupling, digitalization, and security. In addition to technical solutions, the political and regulatory framework conditions will be addressed.
The online conference “Future Power Grids” is organized by Connexio GmbH and will take place on January 27 and 28, and February 3 and 4. Under the patronage of the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWi), experts from politics, research and industry will discuss current and future challenges as well as concrete proposals for solutions.
