23.–28.09. | Seminar on Energy Transition in Cuba

Sancti Spiritus, Cuba | Òscar Monés of the RLI research unit Off-Grid Systems will be representing the RLI at a one-week seminar on energy transition in Sancti Spiritus in Cuba. Òscar will speak there on energy system modelling as well as modelling tools.

The Research Centre for Energy and Industrial Processes Studies, CEEPI, the University of Sancti Spíritus “José Martí Pérez”, UNISS, in cooperation with the Ministry of Energy and Mining of Cuba, MINEM, the German Agency for International Cooperation, GIZ, BEVECON and the SRH University of Applied Sciences Berlin, is organising a series of seminars on renewable energy and energy system transformation in Cuba at UNISS between September and October 2019.

The seminars are also supported by the Bremen Overseas Association for Research and Development (BORDA), the Technical University of Nuremberg Georg Simon Ohm, the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) and the Energy Policy Support Programme in Cuba. Financed by the European Union and implemented by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP).
