Guest lecture: Rural electrification planning and hybrid mini-grids.

Philipp Blechinger, Head of the Research Field Off-Grid Systems at RLI, will give a guest lecture at TU Berlin titled “Rural electrification planning and hybrid mini-grids”. He will introduce the various options for rural electrification planning including hybrid mini-grids and give a basic understanding of what (rural) electrification is. Philipp will focus on Sub-Saharan Africa regions.
The lecture is part of the series “SEER4ALL” which covers topics concerning the transfer of sustainable energy systems in current research to actual local projects in developing countries.
