Carolin Daam has been a Researcher in the RLI Research Unit Mobility with Renewable Energy since November 2018. She deals with e-mobility concepts as well as the development of a tool for vehicle fleet analysis and TCO calculation. Her main research interest is battery electric mobility and its integration into the energy system.

Carolin has already been working at RLI since October 2017 as a student assistant and wrote her master's thesis titled “Model-based investigation of the economic aspects of the use of electric vehicles in the municipal context” in context of her work. For this, she examined the economic and ecologic effects of the electrification of municipal fleets. She holds a master's degree in Renewable Energy Systems and a bachelor’s degree in Energy and Process Engineering, both from TU Berlin.
