October 04th – 05th 2022 | Berlin
Karoline Gerbatsch and Sarah-Juliane Starre will participate in this year’s Student Research Conference (StuFo 2022). Both are student employees at RLI, Karoline in the research unit Off-Grid Systems, Sarah in the unit Mobility with Renewable Energies. At the conference they will present a joint research project. The event is hosted by the Berlin University Alliance, the association of Freie Universität Berlin, Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, Technische Universität Berlin and Charité – Universitätsmedizin Berlin.
Students from all over Germany and from all departments will be invited to present their research and discuss it with an interested audience at the event. Karoline and Sarah have been working together on an interdisciplinary master’s degree project to research the potential of a nature conservation-compatible expansion of wind power in Lausitz and have developed a GIS-based analysis. They will present the results of this work on October 4 in Session A2 “Renewable Energies”.
The conference is free of charge. Contributing and non-contributing students, as well as any other interested individuals, can register to attend the conference via an online registration form by Sept. 27, 2022.
