12.09. | Workshop: System design & optimization of hybrid mini grids

In context of Sarah Berendes’ Master’s Thesis and in cooperation with Photovoltaic-Institute Berlin, RLI is currently developing an open-source tool for designing and optimizing hybrid mini grids. This workshop aims at retrieving expert feedback and analyzing existing software for project development, system design, and optimization in order to derive requirements for a new tool. There will also be an introduction to the Open Energy Modelling Framework (oemof).
