Paul Bertheau , PhD candidate at the European University of Flensburg and researcher in the RLI Research Field Off-Grid Systems will give a talk at the Philippines Mini-Grid B2B Forum. In the session titled “Hybridization of existing island diesel mini-grids & power plants”, he presents the Institute’s work on the sustainable energy supply of islands.

The main purpose of the Forum is to identify investment opportunities in mini grids for renewable energy in the Philippines. It is organized by the Philippine Department of Energy and the Alliance for Rural Electrification (ARE), supported by the European Union through its Access to Sustainable Energy Program (ASEP).
