Mascha Richter, Head of RLI Research Unit Transformation of Energy Systems, represents RLI at the third WindNODE Consortium Meeting in Zwickau.
In addition to an exchange on the progress of the project between the more than 70 partner institutions involved in WindNODE, the meeting will have the structure of a conference. The participants will present some aspects of their work from the different work packages in short lectures.
WindNODE is one of five collaborative research projects funded within “Schaufenster intelligente Energie – Digitale Agenda für die Energiewende” (SINTEG), by the Federal Ministry of Economics and Energy (BMWi). This involves research into the efficient linking of renewable energy generation and use as well as their power grids. This is taking place in the model region of North-East Germany.
